
Dr. Gilbert F. Douglas, IV, D.O.
Dr. Douglas completed his training in the Baptist Health System and is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has been in private practice at St. Vincent’s East since 2009, practicing general internal medicine. He has served as the chairman of the Department of Medicine at St. Vincent’s East and currently serves on the board of directors of the St. Vincent’s Physician’s Alliance and St. Vincent’s Foundation. He joined the Norwood Clinic, Inc. staff in July 2016 and is now practicing at their Gardendale, AL location.
Dr. Douglas strongly believes in the benefit of hands-on diagnosis and treatment. He considers the impact that lifestyle and community have on the health of each individual and strives to help his patients break down barriers to good health. Dr. Douglas enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and four children.
